About BFTB

Company History:

Boys from the Blue (BFTB) grew out of a small company that made T-Shirts for the diving industry. BFTB started as Blue Stuff in 1990, a local retailer boasting a couple of T's and some long sleeved T-Shirts for dive guides, instructors and dive professionals from Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada, The Red Sea and Sinai.

In 2006 after a slumber BFTB Europe opened it's doors in Switzerland catering for our European fans. In the meantime BFTB has expanded it's lines, consolidated its designs and models; still focusing on using only the highest quality of cotton and linen fabrics available in Egypt.

In 2009 OCEANROAMERS joined BFTB in order to improve and consolidate the presence and branding of the company. We are currently working together on new collection lines that will bring a new style to the ocean lovers.

Our passion: We live for the Blue

BFTB's products are high quality, user friendly and functional. BFTB values reflect those of a business that started by a band of divers and surfers who shared the same passion for the oceans, and the minimalist style they promoted. The approach BFTB takes towards product design demonstrates bias for creativity and functionality. Thinking outside of the box will always be BFTB's motto.

For BFTB, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall enviornmental health of our planet. Our ambition is to donate our time, services and at least 10% for our sales to OCEANROAMERS FOUNDATION to help reverse the tide, especially towards the protection of the coral reefs of the Red Sea region.

Staying true to our core values during tewnty years in business has helped us create a company we're proud to run and work for. And our focus on quality has brought us recognition and success in the marketplace.
